Considering a timber frame for your next new build or extension?
Timber Frame has huge benefits, due to the vast majority of the product manufactured off-site in a controlled environment. The project is then delivered on-site on an agreed date and erected quickly speeding up the process of the build. Typically a 3 bedroomed house could go from foundation level to the roof fully braced and ready for covering within 5-7 days. This has huge benefits to the follow on trades and overall build time.
What can Bentley Timber Frames Offer?
From the point of placing an order with us, our designers will create preliminary drawings from your architectural designs. Our structural engineers will take care of all structural elements of the timber frame structure and we will provide you with line and point loads for the foundations.
The preliminary drawings will be approved by yourself and your architect/project team prior to us manufacturing anything, any changes you wish to make at this point can be quickly rectified and new drawings issued.
Once fully approved, the timber frame superstructure will be manufactured by ourselves and any required floor joists and trusses ordered from our trusted suppliers.
The ground floor, first floors, joists, deck, trusses etc will be delivered on pre arranged dates to suit yourselves.
Are timber framed houses energy efficient?
Simple answer is yes and Bentley Timber Frames can offer fully insulated timber frame panels. We offer a variety of products from Solid PIR insulation to Actis Hybris all at various sizes to meet the requirements of your build. Once we know the make up of your build we can supply U value reports for you to ensure your new build/extension meet building regs.
Can we install the products?
Absolutely, we work closely with various trusted timber frame erectors and can offer the complete package in one quotation.
What happens once your product arrives on-site?
Mark, our project manager, will see the project through until handover if we are also installing the product. There will be various site visits and a robust sign off procedure to ensure you have exactly what you expected. If you opt for supply only, we are still only a phone call away and still attend site to check on progress and offer support and advice along the way.
Are there any hidden costs?
Absolutely not. The quotation you receive will be broken down to show each element that we include or do not include, nothing is hidden. If, at any point, you have any questions prior to placing an order then simply speak to us for clarification.
