Another tricky measure, but we replaced the elevations on this school building with insulated timber frame panels. The school had issues of being too cold in the winter and too hot in the summer, this is no longer the issue. The students are so much more comfortable and productive.
A brand new timber frame school building in Shropshire with huge sky lights on a flat roof. Engineered joists were used and calculated to carry additional solar panels making this an extremely warm and energy efficient building.
With no new concrete pad or blocks being laid for our sole plates this building was engineered to site of "easy pads". Fully insulated panels and cladded prior to handover. Hard to believe it was a dog kennel.
A fantastic coffee shop and factory that just has that wow factor. A really enjoyable project.
This school extension was completed using I-Joist panels to allow taller, light weight, panels and allow much deeper insulation in-between the studs achieving a much better U value.
